I was born and raised in Mauritius and thus explored the island extensively–from the most popular places to lesser-known spots.

I’ve written over 50 travel guides about Mauritius packed with tons of useful information about where to stay, when to visit, transportation options, top activities and tours, hikes, etc.

Since I live in Mauritius, all the information provided is up-to-date, which is essential for planning a seamless trip.

How it works?

1. Select a date and time on the calendar below and input all relevant details. If these times don’t work for you, please send me an email with your preferred time so I can make the necessary arrangements.
2. You will immediately receive a confirmation email. A reminder will be sent 24 hours before your Mauritius trip planning consultation.
3. Click the “Pay Now” button to pay by credit card or Paypal. Payment is required within 24 hours of booking your session.
4. (Optional) If you already have a rough itinerary planned out, send it to me by email so I can have a look before our call.
5. I will call you via Facebook Messenger at the scheduled time to begin the consultation.
6. You’ll then receive an email summarizing what we discussed during the “Guidance & Itinerary Feedback” within 2 working days and a detailed itinerary and Google Maps for the “Personalized Itinerary” within 5 working days.

Isn’t all the information to plan a trip to Mauritius available online?

There’s a lot of info about Mauritius travel planning online, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. On top of that, some of it is either generic or outdated, especially with the rise of AI.

A travel guide written by someone who’s been to Mauritius only once or twice won’t tell you about current events, road closures, lesser-known attractions, local gems, etc.

Since I’ve lived in Mauritius my entire life, I have firsthand knowledge of the destination and can provide up-to-date and practical advice that’s relevant to you and your trip.

What type of traveler do you cater to?

I’ve planned trips for solo travelers, couples, and families. Whether you’re a solo female traveler needing advice about the safest areas to stay or a couple planning their honeymoon and looking for a romantic hotel and things to do or a family trying to decide which hikes are feasible with young children or which family-friendly attractions are worth seeing, I take into consideration your specific needs.

Can you still help if I’ve already booked my hotels and flight?

Yes. Some of my clients come to me with everything booked already, while some have only their flight booked. Just make sure to mention which hotel/location you’ve chosen so I can plan your itinerary around it.

What is the delivery time?

Guidance & Itinerary Feedback: Within 2 working days.

Personalized Itinerary: Within 5 working days.

I’ve been to Mauritius before. Can you still help?

Sure! If you’re planning a return trip to Mauritius and are looking for something different this time – lesser-known attractions, local gems, etc, I can help!

Which option is right for me?

If you only have specific questions about activities, hikes, tours, transport, best areas to stay, budgeting tips, etc and/or need an expert to look over your itinerary to see if it makes sense, the Guidance & Itinerary Feedback is the right option for you.

If you want a detailed day-by-day itinerary with everything planned out for you (including hotels, activities, tours, best local operators/guides to book with, choose the Personalized Itinerary.

How far ahead should I book?

For the Personalized Itinerary, I recommend booking two months to a year in advance.

If you only have specific questions or need feedback on your itinerary, you can book 2 weeks to a month in advance.

Just keep in mind that some hotels and activities can get fully-booked during peak season (Christmas, New Year, Easter, etc), so the sooner you plan your trip, the better.

Is it possible to make changes to the itinerary?

The Personalized Itinerary includes one round of revision to make sure it’s the right fit for you.

Do you provide support after the consultation?

Yes. The Personalized Itinerary consultation includes follow-up support until the end of your trip in case you have more questions or require further assistance.

Can you make bookings for me?

No, as a travel consultant, I plan your trip with you by telling you exactly what to do each day and providing specific recommendations based on your personal preferences and budget. This includes hotels, restaurants, transport, activities, and tours (with info on when to book). You can then book direct to get the best price and have complete control over your trip.

Are refunds available?

As soon as you book, I will start working on your itinerary. Since the trip planning service is fully customized to you, refunds aren’t available.
